Anupam Shobhakar’s “Liquid Reality” Album: An Excursion into Fusion and Form

Songs such as “La Danse de Bonheur” recognize John McLaughlin's Shakti, while “Anjaneya” proclaims potency reminiscent of Hanuman, the Hindu deity. The duet with guitar and kanjeera in “Formless” is minimalist but also a deeply emotional expression that seems almost sacred.
