Known as C.E.D., Cash Every Denomination, or Dr. Cedric Streeter, the artist’s relationship with music reaches back to childhood in Washington Heights/Dyckman. His introduction to drums came through his father, Dr. Arthur Streeter, while the sounds of New York’s golden-era hip-hop became a formative soundtrack. Exposure to influential radio programming, freestyle sessions, battle stages, and industry work eventually developed into songwriting, performance, and the creation of Kaos Records, LLC. That history gives Hustlers Haven 2.0 a personal foundation instead of presenting struggle as an abstract theme.

The EP’s strongest quality is its production. Cash Every Denomination wrote the lyrics while using generative AI as part of the instrumental remix process, an approach he describes as empowering because it gives him greater control over the sound he imagines. Ace The Beat God then remixed and engineered the sessions at Gat 3 Studios, with Ken Lewis handling the mixing and mastering. Their creative chemistry gives the four tracks a deliberately reconstructed energy.
