This band from Upland, California, is led by guitarist and songwriter James Davis and operates as a band with changing members. However, this isn't your regular band. The Project is an all-star band where veterans perform a musical hurricane of energy and musicianship through a nostalgia-infused sound from years past, updating it for a modern audience at the same time. 

“Death of Me" is non-stop rock energy, loaded with giant guitar riffs, shredding solos, and a chorus that hits like a freight train. Vocalist Dennis Hill belts like a rock star with burning grit, while guitarist Scott Shiflett, Erik Ferentinos, and Davis blaze their way through a slew of triple-guitar attack sections toward a crescendo. 

Kevin Baldes (Lit) locks down rock-solid bass and arsenal warrior drummer Jimmy DeAnda (BulletBoys), and Davis locks down the pulsating backbeat. This collaboration is aggressive in sound, tight, and unapologetically DIRTY. 

What makes “Death of Me” remarkable, however, is its pulse: a celebration of collaboration, where each member of the band adds their signature edge.
